SunniNikah Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

Nikah With Dignity & Adab
SunniNikah exists to facilitate respectful, Nikah-oriented matrimonial introductions within its stated community purpose.
1. Genuine Intention
Use SunniNikah with a sincere intention of seeking a suitable spouse for Nikah.
2. Truthful Profile
Provide accurate information about age, marital status, education, occupation, location and other material matrimonial details.
3. Islamic Adab
Communicate with modesty, dignity and respect. Do not pressure, threaten, manipulate or humiliate another person.
4. Family Involvement
Users are encouraged to involve parents, guardians and trusted family members at an appropriate stage.
5. Respect for Beliefs
Do not insult, provoke, mock, threaten or deliberately spread hatred against users, religious personalities or the community.
6. No Inappropriate Content
Prohibited content includes obscene or sexually explicit material, nudity where prohibited, sexually exploitative content, harassment, threats, abusive language, and content that violates applicable law.
7. No Fraud or Impersonation
Do not use another person's identity, create deceptive profiles, hide material matrimonial facts, or attempt to obtain money through false representations.
8. No Financial Solicitation
Do not ask another user for money, gifts, loans, investments, banking credentials, cryptocurrency, payment-card details or financial assistance.
9. No Exploitation
Do not exploit another user's trust, vulnerabilities, private information or communications.
10. Family and Marriage Safety
Take reasonable steps to verify information before proceeding toward marriage. SunniNikah does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of any profile.
11. Verification
A verification status, if offered, does not mean that every statement made by a user is verified or that the user is guaranteed to be suitable for marriage.
12. Scholar's Guidance
For questions concerning Nikah, Shariah, compatibility or specific Islamic rulings, consult a qualified and trusted Ahl-e-Sunnat scholar.
Enforcement
Depending on seriousness and circumstances, we may:
- Warn a user;
- Remove content;
- Restrict messaging or other functionality;
- Request additional verification;
- Temporarily suspend an account;
- Permanently remove an account;
- Escalate serious matters to appropriate authorities where legally required.
Reporting
Report suspicious activity, fake profiles, harassment, fraud, threats, sexual exploitation, child-safety concerns or other policy violations through the in-app report function or [grievance@sunninikah.com].
