SunniNikah Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SunniNikah website, mobile application and related services operated by Noori Foundation.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing or using SunniNikah, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety policies and other policies incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
SunniNikah is a matrimonial service for adults aged 18 and above for girls and 21 and above for boys. You must provide accurate information and satisfy the platform's community eligibility requirements.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without appropriate authorization or use the service if you are prohibited by applicable law.
3. Religious and Community Purpose
SunniNikah is intended for individuals who sincerely identify with the Ahl-e-Sunnat wa'l-Jama'at community purpose described in the Religious Eligibility & Community Declaration.
The platform may decline, restrict or remove an account that does not meet the stated eligibility or community requirements, subject to applicable law.
4. Matrimonial Purpose
The service is designed to facilitate Nikah-oriented matrimonial introductions, not casual dating, anonymous sexual interaction or entertainment relationships.
You agree to use the platform in good faith for the intended matrimonial purpose.
5. Accurate Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your profile and representations. Do not misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, education, occupation, location, family information, religious/community information or other material matrimonial information.
6. No Guarantee
SunniNikah does not guarantee:
- The identity of a user;
- The truthfulness or completeness of a profile;
- A user's character, intentions or financial position;
- Compatibility or suitability;
- The outcome of any proposal;
- A marriage or Nikah;
- The conduct of another user.
A profile being available on the platform does not mean that the user or information has been independently verified.
7. Due Diligence
Users and families are responsible for independently verifying identity, age, marital status, background, family details, education, occupation, financial information and other information they consider important before proceeding toward marriage.
8. Conduct
You must follow the Community Guidelines and Safety policies. Prohibited conduct includes fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats, obscene or sexually explicit content, unwanted sexual conduct, abusive behavior, scams, financial solicitation, prohibited religious abuse and other conduct that violates our policies or applicable law.
9. User Content
You retain rights you may have in content you submit, subject to the license and permissions necessary to operate the service.
By uploading or posting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that the content does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.
You grant Noori Foundation a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, enforce policies and comply with law.
10. Reporting and Moderation
We may review, restrict, remove or disable content or accounts when we receive reports, detect policy violations, identify security concerns, or are required to do so by law. See the User Content & Moderation Policy.
11. Blocking and Safety
Users may be able to block other users and report content or accounts. We encourage users to stop communication and report suspicious conduct.
12. Chat
Chat functionality is intended for respectful matrimonial communication. We may apply automated or manual safety controls. Attempts to use chat for harassment, scams, sexual exploitation, prohibited contact-sharing or other violations may result in restrictions.
13. Subscriptions and Contact Packs
Paid features, subscription products and contact packs are subject to the Subscription Terms and Cancellation & Refund Policy. Prices and entitlements are presented before purchase.
Subscriptions or paid entitlements may be associated with a specific profile where stated in the product flow.
14. App Store Purchases
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are additionally subject to the applicable store's terms and billing mechanisms.
15. Intellectual Property
The SunniNikah software, branding, logos, design, text and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Noori Foundation and may not be copied, modified, distributed or exploited without authorization, except as allowed by law.
16. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, limit or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe there is a policy violation, fraud, safety risk, legal issue, misuse, repeated complaints or material risk to users or the platform.
17. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion as described in the Account Deletion Policy. Deletion does not automatically erase information that we are legally permitted or required to retain.
18. Religious Guidance
SunniNikah does not issue Fatwas and is not a substitute for a qualified scholar, Mufti or Qazi. Users should seek qualified religious guidance for Nikah, compatibility, Shariah questions and other religious matters.
19. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued.
20. Third-Party Services
The service may depend on third-party infrastructure, app stores, payment systems and other providers. Their own terms and policies may apply.
21. Limitation and Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for your decisions, communications and interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer and other mandatory protections. Disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the competent courts/authorities having jurisdiction.
[The seat of legal place of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and the arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English, unless otherwise agreed by the parties or determined by the arbitrator.]
