SunniNikah Data Deletion & Data Rights Policy

This Policy explains how users may request deletion, correction or other data-related assistance, subject to applicable law.

1. Request Types

Users may submit requests relating to:

  • Access/information about personal data processed;
  • Correction of inaccurate data;
  • Deletion where applicable;
  • Consent withdrawal where applicable;
  • Grievances or complaints about personal-data processing;
  • Other legally available rights.

2. How to Submit a Request

Email [support@sunninikah.com] with:

  • Account identifier or registered phone/email;
  • Request category;
  • Description of the requested action;
  • Supporting information reasonably required to verify the requester.

3. Identity Verification

We may request information necessary to verify that a request is made by the account holder or an authorized representative. Do not send passwords, OTPs or full payment-card information.

4. Review and Response

We will review requests and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and our documented procedures.

5. Exceptions

Requests may be limited or declined where permitted by law, including where retaining information is necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or other legitimate requirements.

6. Correction

Where practical, users may correct certain profile information directly in the app. For data not editable in the app, contact [support@sunninikah.com].

7. Consent Withdrawal

Where processing relies on consent, users may withdraw consent through available controls or by contacting us, subject to legal limitations and the effect of withdrawal on the relevant service.

8. Grievances

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may use the grievance process described in the Grievance, Support & Safety Contact Policy and any legally available external remedies.

9. DPDP and Other Applicable Law

SunniNikah will update its procedures as applicable Indian data-protection requirements and other applicable laws take effect or change.
